Only advanced WordPress developers is wanted!
We have a PHP-based videoarchive for internal use only, made so several departments can share videos.
Features in existing archive is:
- Upload video in all major formats, and server converts to MP4
- Browse videos
- See Video stats - count for each play.
- Insert Video into different websites.
- Get advanced video info, and JS shortcode.
Videoarchive is protected behind login so only admins can upload and browse for videos. But videos placed on new websites are ofcourse open for all webusers to watch.
On several WordPress websites we are using videos from this archive through the JS-Player plugin.
Where we simply copy the shortcode [video mp4="URL" preload="true" width="648" height="363"] into the WordPress HTML editor.
We need a WordPress plugin that can add this Videoarchive to our WordPress admin, integrated in same way as the native Media Library.
Preferred we would like the existing videoarchive to be shown as an iframe.
-WP Admins should have access to upload videos to the archive
-WP Admins should have access to browse the archive
-WP Admins should have access to insert videos into post/pages (Use JS shortcode: [video mp4="URL" preload="true" width="648" height="363"] )
On request you can get access to the videoarchive to see how it works.
As we have several clients working on the WordPress platform you should see this as an initial project, as we are interested in building a long term relationship with the selected supplier.
