We currently have a Joomla website (1.5) which we want to integrate with 7 x-cart shopping carts (4.4.3).
The integration should allow users, once logging into the main joomla site, to be automatically logged into the x-cart shopping cart once proceeding to that area.
Users within the Joomla website are broken up into 7 regions (based on their country entered). Once proceeding to the shopping cart area they will be redirected to once of the 7 shopping carts based on their region.
Access to the shopping cart will only be allowed by a user first logging in via the main joomla website. If a user tries to login directly to the shopping cart from a link they will be redirected to the joomla login page. Therefore, the users session of being logged in to the site or shopping cart should not expire while they're in joomla or in xcart.
The reason for 7 different regional shopping carts is to allow users to purchase items in their own currency and for the money to go back to that region - if there is a better way of doing this suggestions are welcome.
Also, it would be ideal if when an administrator added a product to a shopping cart it was automatically added into the other 6 carts (i.e. ability to add a product then enter the 7 different prices that get added to the 7 different carts).
