One of the Joomla 1.7 sites I have created contains content with mixed languages (both Romanian and English).
I wanted to install a translator to translate all content to English, or Romanian.
Attempted so far:
So, I installed the "GTranslate" module.
The problem I need help with:
The "Gtranslate" module for Joomla 1.7 makes you choose a "site language". This is bad because it then only translates the parts of the site that are English ot the selected language. Ther eis no way of then translating the other Romanian text to English when selected.
The ideal solution I am after:
A) Make the GTranslate module have a new option for "Site language" called "All" or "Detect multiple". Allowing it to translate all non-romanian text to romanian when romanian is selected, and all non-english text to english when english is selected.
B) Otherwise come up with a smart new solution to this problem. As long as people chan choose a language from the front end and see all text from any other languages translate to it, I will be happy.
If the above are not possible because of too many possible languages, I am happy for the only two languages to be detected / translated to, to be English and Romanian. As long as it turns all romanian&english to either english or romanian when selected I will be happy enough.
This should not be a huge job if I am right about how language detection works when incorporated (through google or not). I can not afford a large job, a small simple solution is required here.
