OpenSim Development

Assistance in installing and configuring the open source software OpenSim on a Linux (Ubuntu 8.0.4) server.

The OpenSim project can be found here: [url removed, login to view]

I am searching for someone who already worked with OpsenSim and is very familiar about the options.

The task with this bid request would be to set up OpenSim in gridmode. One problem we already experienced is the following: The server has 8 GB ram, but a 32 bit system only can handle 4 GB, so we would need to run a 64 bit system. The pitfall now is, that OpenSim doesn´t work really good on 64 bit.

It seemed that there are two solutions for it... 1. compile the Linux kernel, 2. make a 32 bit chroot where OpenSim is running.

Being open for any suggestion.

## Deliverables
