Magento Blank page issue

We have a Magento installation and tried to install a new theme on one of our stores - but it appears to have caused an error and now we are getting blank pages for the frontend and occasionally the backend.

The theme has been uninstalled and all files deleted, but we still have blank pages.

We have tried added 'ini_set('display_errors', 1);' to the [url removed, login to view] file but it appears to be having difficulty loading this page.
