We have a website that utilizes the filtrify script to create a product catalogue. We're happy with the functionality of the script and the appearance but I don't think the script is suitable for the number of elements that we are using. We currently have about 1200 products that have to be loaded first for the filtrify script to function. We anticipate the number of products to eventually hit 3000-4000. The page has become VERY slow to load. We have tried using lazyload without much impact and the pagination script that accompanies filtrify. This does speed things up a little but it still needs to process all the elements in the background. We are hoping that somebody can customize the script (or move us in a new direction that doesn't alter the functionality or appearance much). and dramatically improve load time

The use of image optimization is all you need to increase your load speed dramatically. I'm not asking for much. I can do this very effectively, AND train someone on how the method works.
