We are looking for an ecommerce solution for a small boutique winery. The design for the web site has already been done and approved and we need to stick as closely to it as possible.
Basically we'd like people to go to the wines page, click 'buy now' on a button, and add it to a cart on the right hand side. Once people are happy with their selection they can just click on checkout, then taken to a secure single page that takes all their information and then submit it. We'd like their details including their credit card info to be emailed, however we are open to any reccomended solutions.
There's one little thing it will need to calculate however, the cellar door only ships wine to people in half cases or cases. So it will need to check how many wines are in the cart and make sure it's a multiple of 6 and notify the customer.
There are roughly 13 wines to be put on at the moment, however it should be as easy as us being able to replicate some simple code to add a product.
We need the postage to be calculated based on the state they choose - Australia only has 8, so on the checkout page once they select state the summary should add the relevant postage.
We're open to the software used to do this, we don't care if it's based on an existing open source package - as long as it works and keeps to the look of the web site. Were not even fussy on the language, although I assume PHP would be the best??? However it should be noted the site is hosted on a linux server.
Please see the image attached to this project for an example of the shopping cart (on the right) that will appear on every page. Ignore the purple everywhere I just quickly blotched out all references to the client's and our name.
