We have a hosting platform where our client's websites reside. All of the software management (PHP, MySQL, etc) is taken care of by the hosting provider's sysadmins. At the moment the number of websites hosted is very low, however we are looking to increase this number shortly with various marketing campaigns.
We require someone with system admin knowledge to answer support requests which may come through to us from customers. Typical request examples include emails not working, website down, "can you please help me set up mail forwarding", etc. We may, as part of the role, also require websites setting up on our platform in cases where we obtain new customer and agree to perform the website transfer for them. In this instance we will provide the information from the new customer.
The above is not a full list of tasks which may come arise, and you must have the skills necessary to carry out a range of web sysadmin support tasks.
