Overall objectives include:
Make a web based order system for frequent customers.
Make a web based project portal allowing a client to view all his projects, check status of their individual projects and converse with staff about their individual projects.
The above script would need the following revisions:
ON MEMBER LOGIN PAGE
Change “create new ticket” button to “create new order” button. Edit description to “ Place a new order for survey service”.
Remove new project button from member log in page
Remove verbiage “You may edit your ticket” from view my tickets description.
Change “view my ticket button” to “view my orders” button. Revise text description accordingly.
Remove verbiage “and pay your invoices” from all projects description.
WHEN LOGGING IN AS MEMBER:
under my account change heading from “View Your Support Tickets Below” to “View Your Orders Below”
under settings add fields for name company name, address, phone number fax number, cell number, email address, website. These fields will be filled out by the client the first time they log on. Modify script so the first time a member logs on they are directed to file in these fields. Modify script so this information will be automatically populated in the order from when the member logs on in the future.
under settings remove signature and themes .
Under support desk create new ticket becomes create new order.
Under support desk active ticket becomes active orders.
Under support desk closed ticket becomes closed orders.
Under support desk all tickets becomes all orders.
When viewing a ticket as a member remove edit button
When viewing a ticket as a member remove close ticket button
When viewing a ticket as a member change post reply button to add info button.
Remove close ticket option from members dialog view when posting comments.
Change valid formats to attachments to “odt, doc, txt, pdf” in members dialog view when posting comments.
Under projects remove members button to open new project.
Under projects pending invoices remove action “pay now”.
Under projects payment history remove action “pay now”.
Under projects remove members ability to edit comments once posted.
Replace date stamp with time and date stamp based on eastern time zone USA with adjustment for daylight savings. (this is common throughout site.)

Add script to extract data entered in the order form (above) fields to be extracted to new projects.
Objective of many of these revisions is to make project area viewable and editable only by staff and admin. We want the project information to still be viewable to members after log in however they will not be able to edit that information.

The staff and admin areas would need to be modified to reflect the changes above.
Since the order information will be used to auto-populate the project information the project will need to be auto-generated at the time the order is placed by the client.
These auto-generated projects will need to show “order under review” in the project status.
Admin. And staff will need to have the ability to search for projects with the status “order under review”
