We are a prominent Silicon Valley startup, looking for a freelancer to help complete and enhance our existing Facebook app.
Our company provides an uber-simple web curation tool to simplify sharing and saving while using the familiar mnemonic of a yellow-highlighter pen. Our users have the power to instantly create and save highlights, on any webpage, and instantly post and share the same highlighted page through email, social media, blogs, etc.
We need our application to work seamlessly with our service and our users’ Facebook networks. When a user shares highlighted pages through Facebook, they are posted to their personal ‘wall’ by default. We need an application that will allow a user to choose where on Facebook they would like to make their post. For example on their status, on a friend’s wall, as a question topic etc. The user should also have the ability to edit the text, in order to allow ‘tagging’ before the post is made.
We are also looking to complete an app that will allow our users to sort, search, view, and access all of their Facebook networks’, and their own, posts made through our service.
We need this application to filter and display the user’s history of posts and posts made by friends. We also need the application to have the capability to filter through posts by individual friends and popularity (most ‘liked/commented’). We would also like the app to have the ability to search through both a user’s posts and those of their network.
We would also like the app to display a live feed of public posts to our website. This feed can be in the form of a small display box but we need the box to be able to filter by ‘trending’ and ‘most popular’ posts. These posts should also have the ability to be linked back to the original highlighted page.
Again, there is an infrastructure in place for these features but we need the help of an experienced and proven freelancer to complete the features and improve on overall functionality.
This is project would look great on a resume and is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing internet firm.
