I'm running an online business and we need two database systems using a desktop based solution connected to our SQL server. Ideally we would like to run the two databases through one piece of software, with options of locking areas to different staff members.

The first database system will be for our sales call team and customer service team. We would like them to log each call they make and receive, time spent, who they spoke to and any notes on the system, a follow-up date to ring that company/number again and an outcome check box to confirm if there was a sale/not interested, etc.
The second database system will be for our client database. It will have all of their information in it, including the subscription plan that they are on, username information and review date for next payment.
System will need to have daily/weekly/monthly reporting tools (exportable to XLS) and a search function.
