Modify Some PHP Scripting

Here is what I need done:

What I need to do is to ensure that the random three pages does not include any two products from the same group classification. The following are the seven groups and the two product survey pages for each product.
Group A Pages 6 and 7
Group B Pages 8 and 9
Group C Pages 10 and 11
Group D Pages 14 and 15
Group E Pages 16 and 17
Group F Pages 18 and 19
Group G Pages 23 and 24
In my prior platform I would do this via java script using script that is summarized in the attached note.
