We are looking to create a very simple budget app that will empower (specifically younger adults) to save, plan and budget more wisely.
A user will create an account:
Upon creating an account, they will sync with their Banking Institution via a service like BalancedPayments.
Upon connecting their bank account, they can begin to create new budget(s).
When creating a budget, they will:
A) Name the budget - What Crtiteria e.g. New Car
B) State the timeline - When Criteria e.g. 12/25/2014
C) State the amount - How Much Criteria e.g. $25,000
Off of this information, we would like to "Suggest" (3) budgets:
We would simply take the amounts that they want to save, divide it by how long, and +/- 1 month.
They would then select the budget.
Upon selecting the budget, they commit to that sum of money to be transferred from their linked bank account each month.
So, we would need to be able to do a reoccurring withdrawal for the selected amount.
Every new "Budget" that is created will be deposited into a lump sum escrow account until the budget is achieved.
