I want a VERY simplified two-page web-based application to be used as a stand-alone accounts payable system.
(An XP/Windows PC based application that accesses a SQL database on my web server is OK too)
Regardless of whether the app is written for PC or web-based, only one user access at a time is fine. Multi-user access would be a bonus but totally unnecessary.)
Users can securely log into a web page and look at our payables. Users should be able to add suppliers to the suppliers list (just the supplier name with no contact info) and then be able to choose these suppliers from a pull-down list when entering a payable item. Each payable item should appear on it's own line that can be edited in case of incorrect entry. Priority column should be a pull-down with "Low, Medium, High and Urgent" options. There should be a running total of the current payables at the bottom of the page.
Columns Needed (software should allow you to sort by any column)
Supplier | Invoice Date | Due date | Priority | Amount | Ref number
Software should allow you to display payables for all suppliers at once or just one supplier at a time so that you see what you owe each supplier. Software should allow user to display payables within a date range regardless of whether you are looking at just one supplier or all suppliers.
A button should be available at the left side of every row to mark an item paid. (It doesn't matter if this is a check box and then you press "save" afterward.
There should be a link to a separate "paid" page where all paid items can be seen and sorted in all of the same ways as first page.
Both pages should be formatted in such a way that they can be printed.
