This posting seeks a software developer with significant expertise in VOIP teleconferencing to design a multimedia platform for a moderated group learning experience.
The ideal candidate will be native English-speaking and will have extensive knowledge of existing teleconferencing apps and various multimedia development tools.
The project encompasses the development of a VOIP-based teleconferencing application that will integrate screen sharing, live chat, document-sharing/content management, and support full functionality for break-out sub-groupings.
This project is Phase One of a larger initiative. At this project’s completion, a proprietary app will have been built that’s ready for a technical rehearsal by a group of 6 general users. It will meet the following specifications:
Built to accommodate up to 20 users
Minimum connection speed of 200K
Moderator will be able to:
Access audio, document-sharing, screen-sharing, chat, whiteboard
Mute/unmute whole group audio
Divide group into break-out sessions and moderate them
Chat “privately” with individuals
Members will be able to:
Enter site with password
Access audio, document-sharing, screen-sharing, chat
“Hand raise” to signal audio participation
