Developer needed for data-feed monitoring Script

Need provider to tweak and finalize an online data-feed monitoring script. The script is a php/MySQL script using multi cURL. Basically we have a “Data to track” table that is cross-referenced against data streaming from multiple site feeds and is logged if a match is found. One important aspect of this project is that the logging must be extremely accurate and robust (failsafe’s, backups, contingency). The script uses among others, the “DoubleMetaphone” algorithm but must also be able to reasonably understand when a typo or different spelling is present but most of the data is correct and to log it anyway. The exact tasks of this project are: • General script evaluation & Assessment • Algorithm tweaks to pick up misspellings & naming differences, etc. • Optimize script (tweak, fix, add additional sites that fit in the framework, and help improve on failsafe’s and robustness concerns). Create very basic test interface to show database data output for testing • Create Comprehensive documentation (specs, workflow, troubleshooting, general tasks-basically document the entire system in a way that any developer could easily understand and work/tweak/upgrade), Spec out server/infrastructure requirements at different load levels. • We will be adding user authentication for users to log in to see data that pertains to them…you will help us to set up the database to deal with this in the most efficient manner possible. We already have a running prototype on our development server and are looking for someone that is honest, focused and goes the extra mile. We will need a good developer on call in the future and the right provider will have steady work with us.
