I am standing up a small Linux network, but I need a linux guru to answer my emails & help me with problems. You should be familiar with the following: ssh/sshd tunneling X server hardening shell scripting postfix/qmail/sendmail named & DNS configuration Snort Redhat Linux 7.x Checkpoint Firewall NG dd/tar/cpio/gunzip Linux network system administration.
1) Prompt answers to all emails with a list of instructions. Continued assistance with those problems until resolved. 2) A hardening script in bash that performs various hardening actions. 3) An auditing script that checks compliance with the hardening script from deliverable 2. 4) a backup script to do something like dd a hard drive over a fast ethernet network, and to restore hds over a network also.
Redhat Linux 7.3
## Deadline information
DNS configuration assistance = #1 priority Emailserver assistance = #2 Checkpoint assistance = #3 All hardening/backup/auditing scripts are less important than those, and other assistance is secondary to that.
