To Create an on-line stock control database using a web front end and created in PHP with Mysql The applications should be ‘on-line’ with secure (username/password) logins. They should all support multiple simultaneous access. The company consists of 10 retail outlets It should be assumed that this will be subject to change with possible expansion.
Users The users can be split into three categories:

• Shop Users
They can run all applications and edit all fields

3 Stock Control
This application is to provide a central stock database across the business (all shops). It should provide the features necessary for easy working from the shops to maintain their stock records and make inspections of stock at other shops.

Item Code (unique 8 digit number, incrementing automatically for new records)
Description (text 35 chars, unique)
Brand (lookup from Brand table presented alphabetically)

Stock Variant Table:
‘Variant Description’ is for example S, M, L, XL and red, yellow, green or red/green, yellow/blue etc.
A record is created in this table whenever a new item is created in the Stock table.

Supplier Table: Approx 50 records.
Category Table: Approx 20 records
Carriage Table: Approx 10 records.
Status Table: Approx 4 records.
All results should be displayed in a ‘table’ format with up to 100 records showing.
The application must be able to hand ‘null’ entries in the database.
All currency fields to be shown in £0.00 format (unless null).
Text fields should be displayed ‘not-wrapped’, except description field that can be ‘wrapped’
3.4.1 All Applications
Given the number of records, then all applications must provide the following facilities:
• Search for given number in ‘Item Code’.
• Search for given string in ‘Description’.
• Search for given string in ‘Supplier Code’
• Match all records with a non-null ‘Special Offer Price’

An administrator will be able to login and view the stock levels across the shops (similar to above) and be able to set the ‘Allocated’ fields of each shop.
