I need a coder that can design a techmeme like site based on shortened links in a twitter feed. Following are the requirements:
-Pull entries (update status) from twitter api feed.
-Get the long url for any shortened links including from [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] tinyurl [url removed, login to view]
-Assign results of any expanded urls (and any urls that weren't shortened) to a DB; no need to assign the actual update status to the DB, just the links
-DB should contain the time of the tweet, the person that tweeted the link, and the lengthened link
-algorithm to determine most popular current links based on recency of the tweets, and how many times that link was contained in an update; algorithm should assign less value to older tweets and more value to newer tweets; algorithm should assign more value to links sent more often;
-Based on the algorithm results; a list of most popular news items will be created (similar to techmeme)
-webpage should show the highest scoring items at the top of the page and the less popular items at the bottom of the page. Information shown for each item should be page title with a link, a preview of the first paragraph from the body of the page (see techmeme), and also show the twitter usernames of the most recent people to post that link
-webpage should be updated often
-website will be hosted on a site that i will procure domain name and hosting for.
The feed will be a twitter lists feed so that it can be updated on a regular basis without any coding required.
In your bids, please let me know which languages you would use to create the page and also some comment on whether the page will be able to be indexed by search engines.
Page loading time and ability of the page to be indexed by search engines are important.
