MS Access 97 project

MS Access97 - need code to automatically download stock quote data from Yahoo or other free data sites. ## Deliverables Code must be delivered with instructions for proper placement of code Access 97 to be functional. (other suggestions for coded delivery that will insure proper functionallity will be taken into consideration). Code source will be availalbe to me for possible future changes i.e. the addition of new data for each stock that may be provided from data supplier. Code must be able to download daily all stocks from Yahoo or another database at one time. Yahoo has option for historical date range according dates entered into system. However, once upto date data is received, then only daily updates will be needed. Data will be date, ticker, open, close, hi, lo, volume for each stock in Yahoo's database. (Yahoo's stock data is free, other free sites are available and can be substitued if easier for coder. Data downloaded should be automatic i.e. if data is in a ASCII text file, etc. it should automatically converted into Access table, including the conversion of text date into date format. Once data is downloaded correctly, I will code Access to screen all stocks according to my criteria. For example, price or volume changes or patterns over the previous specified days. I am currently using a Access program that downloads data automatically from a given source, once the file is downloaded and stored in predetermined folder the data is posted to each stock in the database automatically or when mannually posting is initiated. This is how I would like the program to work, so I assume posting will place all data into an Access Table.
