I have vTiger 5.2.1 operational on a live server. The CRM has been customized and everything is working except the webmail module.
Incoming mail server settings have been configured and are correct.
Outgoing mail server settings have been configured and are correct. Test email to admin has been successfully received following outgoing mail server configuration.
However, when attempting to send an email to a contact in the CRM (or send any email from the CRM or webmail module), the following message is received:
Please check the current user mailid. It should be a valid mailid to send Emails
I cannot send any emails from the CRM. Note that the email is valid. The only email that is received is the test email:
This is a test mail sent to confirm if a mail is actually being sent through the smtp server that you have configured.
Feel free to delete this mail.

This appears to be a common problem after searching vTiger forums. I need to be able to successfully send emails from the CRM and obviously remove this error.
Only respond to this post if you are familiar with vTiger, this problem, and have a ready solution.
