For our Limesurvey installation we use a customized Limesurvey template that was created for an older version of Limesurvey.
The contractor would have to
a) adapt the template to the current Limesurvey version - especially the new navigation sidebar and the new upload question type
b) fix existing display errors (mainly IE) and alignment errors (this might require changes to the underlying php code)
c) make sure the template is compatible to the current browser generation (IE 9, FF 5, Opera 12, Safari 5).
d) ensure backwards compatibility down to IE 5/5.5! Many of our students visit from internet cafes without current technology.
Suggestions for a modernization of the design are welcomed.
An old design template will be provided. If necessary, access to a testing survey can also be provided.
The work has to be completed on a very tight schedule (August 25th) and is subject to a standard work contract by the University of Hamburg, Germany. Payment will be issued after the contract has been signed and the contract has been completed.
Due to the tight schedule and the legacy architecture of Limesurvey, previous experience with coding in LimeSurvey is, while not required, considered a strong plus.
