We have the possibility of two projects, however, until we have an indication of the cost of going ahead it would be unfair to say this is a live project at this moment, we would prefer (but not essential) a bidder to be in the UK for possible face to face meetings and discussions.
To build a web bureau for the visual presentation of CSV numerical data, the system must be (admin) user configurable as the data will be sent via FTP from various sensors and each sensor may send the data slightly differently i.e. with more header lines, tab/comma delineated, etc.
The data will be sent sporadically/intermittantly so the system must be able to aggregate seperate data files to present a seamless graph, the data file will have a time stamp at the beginning of each data line, the file name and time stamp can be specified at the sensor location.
It would be ideal (but not essential) if different graph styles could be chosen by the client user.
Please see attached :- BureauOrganogram & RemoteBureau
File :- data1910110 21 30 = data file format, please note certain structures may change as para 2.
A) The system may be required to recalculate values from the incoming data, this facility must be incorporated.
B) Facility would be required for the client user (i.e my client) to specify parameters for alarms to generate emails and text if alarm parameters breached.
All bids so far (excepting one) appear to be offering eshops/ecommerce.
Please note this is not a shop or e commerce operation, looking pretty and clicking thro pre designed pages is not substantially required, tho it should give a professional look, this is an FTP site that will receive numerical data from sensors in multiple file format, as described above.
This data requires manipulating and presenting in a dynamic graph form to present my client with a visual representation of their data and to send my client email and sms alarms when their readings (data) exceeds the parameters my client have set.
The system should channel the client to their area of the FTP site by way of their login as shown in the documents attached to the post.
If you are bidding based on providing an eshop or ecommerce site please do not do so.
The layout, codeing and look of the web site should be relatively easy, the problems will be in producing dynamic graphs and a system of ensuring the data received can be reformatted, calculated and aggregated for graphing and the logic gates to ensure my clients are guided to their areas only.
I hope to upload a JPG of what the present site looks like very soon.
