Website Programmer and Designer

Website Programmer and Designer (Contract to Fulltime Position) Preference will be given to contractor located in Manila, Philippines Able to create real-time auction bidding website with timer for each auction item, similar to Quibids.com. Summary of Site: The site should be set-up where input of new items, prices for items, images is user friendly. Other staff should easily be able to update items without needing prior computer programming experience. There will be at least 10 items to bid on simultaneously each day. All items will be replaced with different items daily. Job Details: • Able to program in Joomla or other open source codes. • Able to link social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. to the website. • Able to set up the site to receive payments from Paypal, Moneybookers, GCash, credit card, bank transfer, etc. and automatically apply the payment directly to the user’s account. • Able to automatically convert currency depending on the IP address of the user. (The site will be open to multiple countries.) • Able to automatically credit a user’s account for referrals. • Able to teach management how to update all facets of the site. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming is preferred, but not required, if the applicant has a strong portfolio.
