When a visitor goes to [url removed, login to view] and they click on Men's Fitness or Woman's Fitness, they should be presented with a dropdown menu of several available pages, Such as; Legs, Arms, Back, etc.
When they select one of the pages we would like it to display a handful of posts from a specified category (for example, Mens Legs). The top of the page will display posts from a 'Featured' category, for example, Mens Legs Featured. The selected categories for each page can be defined by custom fields; the main category will have the custom field name 'category' and the featured category custom field will be called 'featcategory'.
A page template is already set up to do this, it is called Fitness Categories ([url removed, login to view])
Work To Do:
We would like the [url removed, login to view] to resemble the attached image ([url removed, login to view]). Each post in the category will be displayed in its own box. The box will contain an image (pulled from the 'Featured Image' of the post), and except of the post's content with a 'More' link at the bottom which will link to the full post. The title of the post will also be displayed in the box and will also act as a link to the full post. We would also like the 'Trainer Name' to be displayed - if possible we would like this be data in another custom field.
The menu structure does not work as we would like it. It is set up to use the Menu feature in the wordpress dashboard (Under Appearance > Menus). When a page is added as a subpage under another, it appears on a separate line which is always visible on the front end of the website. We would like the subpages only to be visible when the main page is 'moused over' and then to all appear directly beneath the main page.
There is a section on the homepage about half way down called Health & Fitness Articles. This pulls posts from the Health and Fitness category. Work has started on this area but has not been complete. We would like it to resemble the Health & Fitness area in the attached image, layota.jpg.
