The Center for Women’s Mental Health requires a site redesign.
Our current site is [url removed, login to view]
Presently, we require the development of a theme for Wordpress 2.2.2. We will not consider any other types of themes or development platforms. This must be for Wordpress 2.2.2. The resulting theme must be plugin and widgets compatible.
The source of your inspiration should be www.webmd.com. We seek a template that is clean and concise with little clutter.
A common throughout the theme will the following header and footer:
Across the top of the home page and all subpage templates, we must start with the title bar that is currently on our website that has the Massachusetts General Hospital Logo.
Below this there should be a horizontal navigation menu. The first two tabs should be home, and then blog. After this, it should show the 1st level category pages. However, it must allow us to specify which categories show up as we will not show them all. It must also be a drop down navigation menu similar to webmd where it shows the first level of subpages in the word press blog.

Then, we need different themes for the different subpages.
#1 The home page
On this page the body should be divided into 3 areas.
1st, on the left should be a Box Labeled Health centers similar to web md. This should show the subpages that we put into our pages categories called health centers. If I change the name of this category, it needs to be clear in your php code how I change the php code to find the correct category again. The text for healthcenters should use an orange color similar to what we use at www.womensmentalhealth.org. the middle column should display the rotating image that we have on our website now. Below this it should have grey text existing on [url removed, login to view] that says “The Massachusetts General Hospital Perinatal Psychiatry Program is a …..” However, instead of an image as it currently is now, it should be text that we can edit. The last column should show the 5 most recent articles from our blog using blue text similar to our current home page.
#2. The blog page.
The overall colors cheme for this page should be blue.
The first line should be a blue box with white text that says “Women’s Mental Health Center Blog”
On the left, it should show the blog categories, then the middle column should show the blog itself. The right should have a widget enabled sidebar where we have “Links”
#3. Health Centers page.
The overall colors cheme for this page should be orange.
The first line should be an orange box with white text that shows the title of the Subpage that we in followed by “health center”, such as “PMS and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder Health Center”
Below this, there should be a horizontal menu in white that shows in orange text the second level subpages for pages in the Health Centers.
On the left there should be the same Health Centers Category that Shows on the Home page. The Middle area should be the part of the page into which we insert content using wordpress pages. The right should have a widget enabled sidebar where we will have a blog feed of the titles only of the last 3 articles in the blog category that shares the same name as the health centers subpage we are in. For example, on the PMS and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder Health Center subpage, it would show the last 3 articles that are in this blog category.
#4 About us Pages.
The overall colors cheme for this page should be green.
The first line should be a green box with white text that shows the title of the subpage that we are in. Underneath this, in white, with green text, it should show us the title of the second level subpages that we are in.
On the left, there should be an area where it attempts to show a photo labeled with the same name as the page title, such as Lee Cohen.jpg. if there is no image, it should show nothing at all.
On the right, should be the text area that we upload text into using the wordpress pages system.
