We're developing a small series of flash games to a educational project for latin american elementary schools. The budget is limited but at least is existant ;)
The games are all standalone applications (no installation requiered) with AS2, and will be distributed in CD-ROMs, (Without internet connection, and on standard schools pcs, no servers) so we need a stand alone app that just do something:
The game is a single puzzle game, and we need to get final composition saved in a JPG, BMP, o ANY popular image format.
I could ask you to see the game first, in order to get the exact idea that what we need.
You can check the game at
[[url removed, login to view]]
The game is in spanish, but Im sure that U will have no problem, is a kid's puzzle. ;)
BTW...."Termine" means "finish" ;) hit it when done making the desired face.
**If you press the "print" function you'll get a print only fron the face that u made with the game. Only the face and not the interface.**
**We wan to get this same functionality duplicated wit the "save as" button, and that's where we need your help.
Let me explain further: We need that when the "save" button is pressed, your program grab the screen from the part where the face is and then, save it any graphic file (bmp, jpg, whatever) asking the user where u want the file to be saved.
**We have 4 technical requirements, chek it the "Deliverables" section**
Please check it out, and give to me your quotes.
Thanks in advance.
1-Since is a flash game, we need a single exe or something of easy distribution, with no installation required from the user, 100% transparent and invisilbe to the end user: Our flash game launchs your app, the app saves the screen, then closes itself. (remember that the users will be 4-5 years old children!)
A skinnable Save as dialog with progressive auto file naming.
2-The area to be captured is circular, so a screengrab and mask superposition maybe will be necessary. Changing the actual interface is no a option, but we can discuss other workaround if this represent a problem (or a higher cost)
3-The game scales to fit the user's screensize. so, the screengrab utility must do the same.
4-We need a Mac version of this app.
5- A web version is not required, but is a plus. Please givme a separate quote.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. The final program must be compiled to run both on M.S. Windows and Mac OS X or later.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4)The web version must be able to be called from a remote server diferent from were the original swf game resides.
Windows XP, Mac OS X, for the main app
Internet explorer 6+ and firefox for the web version
