VPSL has a site using PHP/MYSQL included in the attachment. When you install it on some machines, the PHP code does not access the mySQL database correctly. Instead of the site working correctly, (see [login to view URL]) you get the following in "[login to view URL]" The problem is something to do with how the PHP code is accessing the database. Here is how to get the problem: • Install Wamp server, this installs PHP and apache [login to view URL] • Copy the website files so that the files under www in the site go under wamp/www e.g. wamp/www/images • and “app??:, “config?? and “lib?? go under “wamp?? e.g. wamp/app • Under apache settings, enable mod_rewrite. This uses the .htaccess file supplied with the site. • Check that the database is loading properly. you can change the database login to work with the local MySQL database. [login to view URL] has this info. If you get the output shown in "[login to view URL]", then you have the same problem as many windows PC's do. If you dont, then it will be harder for you to fix this problem.
## Deliverables
A short explanation and fix for the problem. This includes whatever modifications are necessary to the php code to make the site work.
## Platform
The fix must work for Windows 2003, using the WAMP installation (same version of PHP/MySQL) described in the description.
