We are building a business portal using WordpressMU and BuddyPress.
On the 'members' page of Buddypress, we would like a horizontal JQuery slider for our top rated members. This is how we would like our slider to look like - [url removed, login to view]
The top members appearing in this slider should be based on
a) Their rating and
b) We also need a provision to be able to set the order of the members from our admin panel, as in, we would like an admin options page wherein we should be able to see all member names that we have in our database on this page. And we should just be able to drag and arrange the order of any member.
For eg: Say I have three members added to my site. Members A, B and C. At the very first go, when they are retrieved from the backend, the default order is A,B,C. Now, I drag the members and arrange the order so that it appears - first B, then C and lastly A.. so that is the order that we wanna see on the JQuery slider of our 'members' page.
There should be a textbox for putting in the cut-off number of members. Like say if I put in 10, then only 10 members should be shown in the slider.
Also we would like a way of deciding whether we want to show the members by rating or by the ordering that we set. So for this you need to provide a radio group or some way for us to tell the code what order we want(i.e whether by rating or by our custom ordering) Depending on the option we set, the members should be visible in the slider.
We really need someone good with WordpressMU, Buddypress and CSS. There is a lot of work that we can offer and if we find you as good, talented, and reliable, we would recommend you to our partners as well!!
