I'm looking for someone who knows how to setting up a brand new VPS running WordPress multisite network. The VPS is now running a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04, and needs to be secured and configured with all the needed features in order to run a WordPress multisite network successfully. There will be multiple domains running on the same network using domain mapping. The network needs to run as smooth as possible and be able to handle 10k + visitors a day (and possible more if scaling up in the future). What i want in this setup is high availability, security, speed and maximum efficiency. I order to accomplish this i figure the setup needs Nginx instead of Apache - along with MySQL, phpMyAdmin, cache (Varnish? + CloudFlaire CDN?). All emails will be handled external (Google Apps etc), except systems/admin email. Please feel free to give any recommendations to this setup.

Hello, What is the VPS server specification? How much RAM does it have? How big is your site would you say? 10k a day should be doable my concern is during short traffic spikes that can cause the small VPS server to crash. I understand it will be only running this one wordpress multisite installation? Nginx with php fpm handler is a good idea over Apache, although if we go for nginx I wouldn't be adding varnish to it, but instead add opcode cache memcache/xcache and maybe a CDN. WP generally uses InnoDB databases thus instead of MySQL we could go with MariaDB instead which provides more robust database performance as well.

Hello, i have lot of understanding in what you need and also iv'e done similar setups with WP + Nginx + Varnish + FPM + Memcached + DB Object Cache to meet requirement for 900-1000 concurrent users which was tested with Apache Benchmark and Tsung. With this kind of setup you don't need CloudFlare but its ok if you will go with him too. I can setup your server in full with all additional tools like phpMyAdmin and others if you like. Hi, I am a RHCE certified professional who is currently working for a web hosting company. I used to work in Linux and I am having a very good troubleshooting skills. Please note that I am working in L3 level for a major webhosting company and I can do this project much easier. Kindly hire me for quick result. I recommend you to install Varnish to server static contents which listen on port 80. Then you can use Nginx server which can forward reqauest from Varnish. This can be done very easily from my end as I do this regularly. The reason for low bid price is just because I am new in Freelancer and it doesn't means that I am not experienced. Kindly hire me for quick result.
