The problem is with pagination. Page 2 and on show an error/not found message. This only occurs on the frontage and not when searching in categories.
I have found that manually typing in "/home/" to my site url fixes the page error issue. So I tried adding /home/ to my url permanently in Wordpress general settings, but it did not work.
I feel like I am on the right track ,but do not know how to make this automatic without screwing up my site. I have crashed it a few times messing with the .htaccess file, permalinks and site url modification in general settings.
website: [url removed, login to view]
problem example: [url removed, login to view]
manual solution: [url removed, login to view]
How do I make my manual solution automatic?
In the future I may need other site modifications to this wordpress template (classipress.) Very basic things, mostly visual/aesthetic related.
Ignore the stuff about "my solution" and what I think the problem is. If I knew what I was doing I would not be here.
The problem: All pages beyond page 1 on the homepage of my site do not work. This is a pagination error. My theme is Classipress, which is a classified ads theme. The pagination on other pages (for categories for example) DO work. It is only the list of ads on the front page which do not work when page numbers are clicked.
Also take a look at my other project, as it would make most sense if that they both be tackled by the same freelancer, as they are both for the same site.
