Hi there, I am seeking a database guru / programmer who can really make things happen using microsoft acess and excel. We are in need of automating our monthly reports from different sources. We are basicially compiling reports from overture, google, cj, with our excel reports that tell us how much we are spending and how much money we are marketing. We import csv files from different sources and need everything gathered and formulas run. We would also need history to be stored from previous months. Something right now that is done on different excel files. We want to measure different results, error proof and debug things. things like it grabs csv files from a folder, import it into a database, timestamps it, cross matches it with a few querries and provides some results on summary page and other results on a detailed page.
All history would be stored to be fetched another time. Everything must be pretty dynamic since we get other sources which we need data from. we will also be using sub totals, complex querries and other things to make sure we have proper data to verify it. As mentioned we would love this project in microsoft access but plans are to have it as a web version as well.. we can upload it to a mysql database easily. You are not bidding on the project just yet. we first need to find people who can do this job. If your interested place a bid but it can be adjusted when this project is laid out within the next few days. This project will be pretty urgent once it gets started.
