The flash application will import a video. The user will pause at certain points. For some objects in the frame, the user needs to highlight them ( as a square or circle). The highlighting can be of a different color for different types of of objects. The type of objects are fixed and the list will be available. The type of object will need to be selected from a list which can appear when the object is highlighted, The text name of the object type can also be written at the bottom of the highlighted object.
The time stamp and the type of object highlighted needs to be written to an XML file each time the highlighting is done. At the end of the exercise, the application should be able to show the number of objects counted of each type and the time taken to count them.
When the video is played further, the exercise can be repeated in future frames. But if the video is replayed, the highlighting should appear in the respective frames, on the respective objects.
Eg: In a video clip of a zoo, if different animals have to be highlighted at different points, then the application will tell you how many Lions, monkeys you counted.
