We require either a modification of the current [url removed, login to view] or a new module entirely… We need to have the module created to do the following steps…
1. create a credit memo.
2. add a comment to order with credit memo number
3. issue a online refund ([url removed, login to view] and/or paypal).
4. generate a transaction for the refund in magento
5. add a comment to the order with the transaction ID and refund amount (will always be full invoice value).
6 email customer of successful refund with order number, refund transaction number and refund amount. (should be able to use magento email templates)
We basically want the same functionality as if you posted the credit memo and online refund by using the backend web interface.
The module must work for both XML/RPC and SOAP
