I need help with the creation of my RSS display and website.
The goal of the site is to pull news from multiple stories in an RSS format
and display a clickable link (to the full story) and offer a 2 or 3 line summary/text of each story.
There are many, many sites that do this...
For example - [url removed, login to view] - It is pulling news stories from multiple
sources and displaying them WITHIN the site (I'm assuming a database of some sort)
as an html page.
Obviously, I want visitors to be able to read their news stories from my site
without the links taking them to CNN or ABC or whatever source I'm pulling from.
Otherwise, what good is advertising, right? LoL
I understand basic-intermediate HTML and can grasp concepts quickly, but I'm in a bit of a hurry to get this site up and running and the main portion of the site will be the news feeds.
Tell me what you need and we'll make it happen! I would greatly appreciate it if we could also settle on a price for "as-needed support" for the winning bidder and after the initial job is done in case I want to change things up a bit later or I have a problem. I doubt this will be used, but it would be nice to email someone who is already familiar with the site and code involved in case a problem arises.
