Sport Fixtures XML Feed stored to database

There are many feeds on the internet that provide sports fixture information. Some examples of which are here: [login to view URL] [login to view URL];sport=182&ct=text/xml&type= What I want is a php component and mysql database that reads the feed and stores it to a mysql database in a structure way. I also need a component to read the results feed and update the database with the results. This should be very straightforward but I want it developed in the correct way so that additional sports and alternate feeds can be easily added. You must have a good understanding of XML to be able to code this the correct way. You must also design the database intelligently.
