I am need of someone that can create a Plug-In for Wordpress that would enable people to display live RSS feeds. The RSS feeds must be converted to HTML or PHP coding. When you
This Wordpress Plug-In should work with the following:
RSS versions [url removed, login to view], 1.x and 2.x, plus Atom 0.3 and 1.0.
This plug-in needs to enable people to easily add a small line of code to their post and it should display the actual feed. So for example as people write their post in
Worpdress in the code section I want them to be able to paste something like this:
<!--rss:rss_feed_url:=[url removed, login to view],num_items:=10,random:=false-->
So I want the plug-in to just take the RSS Feed entered and turn it into the content.
The RSS feed should display similar to this if it was eBay content:
[url removed, login to view]
All of the RSS links created should contain the no-follow attribute. This plug-in will mainly be used to feed in eBay RSS feeds, but I want this program to work for any kind of RSS content so people can have constantly updated content. It MUST HAVE the no-follow attribute attached to each link that shows up so that search engines cannot spider through the links to the other page.
Here is an example of a common RSS feed URL from eBay that would be used:
[url removed, login to view];siteId=0&language=en-US&output=RSS20&catref=C5&sacur=0&from=R6&saobfmts=exsif&dfsp=1&saslc=0&floc=1&sabfmts=0&saprclo=100&saprchi=400&saaff=afcj&ftrv=1&ftrt=1&fcl=3&frpp=50&afcj=2863260&satitle=nintendo+wii+system+console&saslop=1&sacat=-1&fss=0
Please note that this is work made for hire, and that I will own all copyrights to this plug-in after it is developed. I must be able to test this out before any payment will be released. This should be pretty simple because I know there are similar programs out there already that do this.
To summarize the plug-in should do the following:
1. Be uploaded to Wordpress 1 Time
2. Enable people to call the plug-in or the PHP parsing from the Wordpress Post or Page as they make it. They would call it by inserting code like this: <!--rss:rss_feed_url:=[url removed, login to view],num_items:=10,random:=false-->
3. The user should be able to quickly edit the feed URL if it needs to be changed and they should be able to adjust how many items are fed in.
Since this is simple for the right developer I am not willing to pay more than $200.
Thank you for bidding and have a great day!
