I currently maintain two e-commerce sites -- one using Xcart, and one using Yahoo Store. Now that I have tried both out, I need to decide which one best suits my particular needs, which include ease of use for both the customer and me in the backend area and communication with my real time store inventory and then focus on updating that one. I need to find someone that will help me make this decision.
I need to find someone that will help me tweak the backend administration in the program we choose in areas as shipping, payment methods, etc. I also need someone that can help train me as I learn the skills necessary to update and maintain these sites.
The site needs to have some SEO to it -- my budget does not include a full scale program, but some simple things that are inexpensive to implement should be added.
I also need to make sure the design of the site is good and solid.
Successful candidates must have knowlege of ecommerce, and be willing to talk to technical support with Xcart or Yahoo on my behalf if needed.
You must be available on Google chat on a daily basis during the morning (EST) to discuss progress.
I will exchange messages via PM with futher details.
Please note that my budget for this is at the lower end of the range.
Please do not send spam bids, and provide no more than 3-5 portfolio sites you have designed using either program. Bids that do not follow these guidelines will not be considered.
Since this work is long overdue, you should be available to work on this project fairly quickly.
I am looking for someone that I can develop a solid long-term business relationship with.
Thanks for your interest!
Successful candidate will also have solid experience and knowledge of WordPress as I have two other sites I maintain that utilize that, and for future projects, your WordPress skills will be put to good use!
ALTHOUGH PLEASE NOTE -- you are only bidding on the above project for now, so please don't put in high bids that would include any future work.
I suspect that Xcart will be the winner as we choose, and if that is the case, successful bidder must help me with installation and use of add-ons such as Xcarts "Sales and Stats" Live Chat software.
this is not a huge project -- all the graphic design has been done -- it's probably no more that a few hours of work for someone with the right skills. therefore, bids over $500 will not be considered and marked as an Uninteresting bid. Bids over $400 will be considered, but at that higher price, I want to see lots of bells and whistles.
and finally -- please don't tell me to go to your website and look at your portfolio. I want you to take the time to point me to no more than 3-5 that are revelant to my project.
