Project Description

I'm creating a basic front-end interface for adding cost items. So far it mostly works and I am able to capture most of the fields and store them and retrieve them from the database.

But I have also made it so the user can keep adding line items each which contains some fields, and this is where I don't know how to capture those additional fields. See [url removed, login to view] attached highlighted in red. You can see the user can keep adding fields, which includes a description, quantity and rate. The last field is called 'amount' and updates automatically and is not editable by the user. But it still needs to be captured into the database.

Once the form has been submitted the user is then taken to a preview page. This preview page needs to show all the line items they had just added. See [url removed, login to view] attached highlighted in red. This page also has an EDIT button which takes them to a page where they can now edit, and save. See [url removed, login to view] attached highlighted in red.

Note that I have already gotten the flow of all this working (the interface has been built) and the scripts to capture all the other data, and it's just those additional line items with the fields that I need to be able to capture, then let the user edit, and let the user save. All the other fields (summary, client, date, total etc... are all being captured. So you will be adding to my existing code.

The most important part of all this, is that the total needs to reflect any changes the user makes when editing.

Just to clarify, you job will be:

- Capture the additional line item fields

- How the line items fields on the preview page

- Let the user edit the line item fields

You will be given admin access to an existing WordPress instance, and FTP access if you want as well.
