I require some expert independent advice on the programming language and software packages to be used in developing a standalone software package, the program requires a database and GUI and reporting and printing functions. A modern language and user friendly GUI package with libraries for developing dashboards, ribbons etc. The current design is in Excel/VBA format and will require conversion. Replies to include examples of previous projects and screen shot examples. The ability to discuss and demonstrate packages via Team Viewer and Skye a prerequisite.
