Looking for a couple of coders to help out with updating and maintaining my Retro Computer Scene site.
We basically use Silex and code the style in a manner similar to Symfony's coding style (bundles). Each "Silex bundle"'s services are described in its [url removed, login to view] file. That may be considered similar to Symfony's [url removed, login to view] file. We use Twig as well and a tiny database abstraction layer based on Doctrine DBAL. We have our own ORM code following repository->model paradigms. Models are dumb and don't access the database directly. Repositories also provide identity mapping. More about identity mapping can be read here. We code using Eclipse, as it provides nice autocompletion, especially for variables that are PHP-type-hinted or annotated (their type is known). We use composer for managing dependencies (additional PHP libraries). Deployment is done using rsync. That may not work well if multiple people need to deploy (from different locations). There is also some Python 2.x code related to indexing servers. That code is done in Python, because it needs to be multi-threaded - something PHP sucks at. Coding style - we indent using tabs, not spaces - for PHP code. Python code is indented using spaces.
If your not competent with the above style of coding, please don't message me it will be a waist of my time and yours.
