Access Pricing Calculator

Our company is an HVAC company that provides certain kinds of service work. Customer have varying needs and each of their locations have varying type of equipment. When we bid on work we need to have a calculator that shows the pricing overall and then for specific locations.
We created this in excel but we find weird glitches in it at times and have been told access is really where this needs to be.
To the excel file we have has 2 tabs that are interconnected. On the first tab you enter in how many visits there are in a number of categories and the sheet gives you a price list. The second tab picks up the info from the first tab and then you enter how many units at a location and it gives you pricing for that specific location only.
Need a price to re-create this in access and make it work cleanly with no errors.
Would like to be given a flat rate quote for the entire project not a per hour rate.
