I am looking for a custom module for our ActiveCollab system. I am looking for a resource management tool (people). I want to know who's working on what, who's available now and at any designated time in the future for starters. I want the system to pull that information from Tasks and Tickets (not Milestones). I need to be able to assign people to the task, specify the hours I will allocate to that individual and change the dates of the task and it should update the task / tickets as well. I need to be able to filter per person, a number of people or have an overall view of everyone.
I need to be able to put them in team groups (such as all designers are a group, all developers are a group and so on). I also want to see who they were assigned by if possible and how much of the task they have already logged time on. I would prefer to see it in a calendar view, ideally being able to switch between daily view, weekly view and monthly view (a bit like outlook calendar does it). These are the main requirements, however I would give you a full spec document.
