I need a capable PHP developer who is familiar with Wordpress and also the BuddyPress framework.
We have a customised BuddyPress web app setup that allows users to manage documents and various data for their company.
We need a developer to help us do the following:
2. Add the ability to add more fields against companies in the backend when the user is creating a new company profile. We should be able to do this via a new settings page in the companies section in the Wordpress dashboard. The fields should be three different types: text field, number field and URL. This means the fields will show against the companies in the dashboard. When creating a new company, these new details should all be in the first section under “Details”. All the new fields should appear under details on the front-end. The front-end design should just be taken from the table styling on the individual user profiles. All of these details can obviously be changed.
3. We also need the developer to put a toggle switch in the backend which will control whether the company is hidden by default. In step two of create company, the user can currently select one of three privacy options. We need to be able to toggle from the backend to make all companies ‘Hidden’ by default.
FTP access will be provided via file manager. We will need to be able to test this before the end of the week if possible. More work is available after this project.
Feel free to ask questions and message me if you would like access to the staging site.
