The Specs: I am looking for software script with an attractive user interface that can be run from a PC that extracts data from [login to view URL] The user must be able to download the file and be able to run it from their PC in an easy process. Pls note: the software can be in any language as long as it can be run as a standalone package on a PC. The search/extraction will be limited to just 100 products. The input area will allow the user to select one of the 3 key areas from within Amazon they want to target. Either .... To 100 best sellers or Top 100 movers and shakers or Top 100 new releases If you go here you will see the various tabs http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers/zgbs/ref=zg_bsms_tab The user can choose the main categories they want and also the sub categories. The user will type in or a drop down box will show the categories as follows. Appliances Appstore for Android Arts, Crafts & Sewing Automotive Baby Beauty Books Camera & Photo Cell Phones & Accessories Clothing Collectible Coins Computers & Accessories Electronics Entertainment Collectibles Grocery & Gourmet Food Home & Kitchen Home Improvement Industrial & Scientific Jewelry Kindle Store Kitchen & Dining MP3 Downloads Movies & TV Music Musical Instruments Office Products Patio, Lawn & Garden Pet Supplies Prime Pantry Shoes Software Sports & Outdoors Sports Collectibles Toys & Games Video Games Watches Output will show across the screen. Category Sub category Rank from 1-100 Product ID Title List price Sales price Commission Ratings # of Reviews Thumbnail Image (optional) The results need to then be filtered by column .... For example sort by price highest to lowest. This will apply to Each column. Clicking on the Product ID will bring up a Browser to allow the user to see the full product page on Amazon. Finally the filtered results need to be saved as well as exported to CSV.

Hi, I am Student who is good at coding in python and I have done lot of softwares for windows. This task can easily be done by first creating a scraper in python using mechanize to open the site and using beautifulsoup HTML parser to parse all the data from [login to view URL] we create a visual [login to view URL] application In visual studio using forms and we can, convert the python code to exe file with the help of py2exe library and then we can connect both vb.net application with the exe file. then by using visual studio installation file creator we can create a setup file for the program,hence atlast we will get a standalone program which can be installed on pc and run directly. I have done many projects like this,and if given the task to me I will finish it with perfection and submit it to you before deadline

I will give you a C# program with FULL source code included. It will not need to be installed - just a single .exe file that you run, well, assuming you have a PC newer than 3 years ago and therefore already has .Net 4.0. The 3 areas will be selected via tabs across the top, similar to the Amazon site. But if you prefer, radio buttons, dropdown - take your pick. There will then be a dropdown for the categories. ** I am not sure how subcategories work here because there doesn't seem to be a way to search top 100 movers and shakers WITHIN a subcategory ... ** Click a button "get/refresh" which will populate a GRID with sortable/filterable headers. Another button will export to CSV. Within the grid, clicking on the Product ID will bring up the details in the default browser. Regards.. Richard from NZ
