Our website is a kind of airbnb (vacation rental), and we have 3 types of users: 1. web ADMIN, 2. RENTERS 3. OWNERS (that can rent also).
We are using the autotranslation plugin called WEGLOT. Now the notifications: emails and sms from the theme options and emails from woocommerce are translated in the language that user do an action, for example: a renter send a request of booking in russian and the owner, who speaks spanish, is receiving this notification in russian instead of spanish.
Notifications are translated from Spanish, which is the base language, into English, French, Italian and Russian. The problem is not the translation, which is done automatically using the weglot plugin, the problem is in the language in which the translation arrives. We need the translation of notifications to be done in the language of the user who receives them.
What we need exactly is, assign a language to each user, for example, that he can select it when creating his profile and that weglot (the autotranslation plugin) understands that notifications must reach that user in that assigned language.
always think of airbnb. You have uploaded a listing in Russian and I, the renter, reserve your property in English. Currently the notifications would come to you translated into English, but they should arrive in your language, that is, translated into Russian.
