I am looking for a VERY experienced person to work on our complex website products.
We currently have over 4,000 products most of which have at least one option type, many up to 5 or 6. Currently we are using price modifiers, which means the current website prices for different combinations are incorrect - a table in a larger size in a more expensive finish is priced as the average of the expensive finishes.
We need someone who completely understands modifiers & variants to methodically & accurately work through, brand by brand, the various products & set up variants to replace modifiers where the option affects price.
There are various product sets where a finish, eg fabric A, fabric B etc is available on all of the sofas from that brand BUT prices will ALWAYS be different & depend on modules chosen & size. There will also be exceptions where a particular fabric is NOT available on one or 2 products for some reason. So you will need to understand the product catalogue to start with - though we will of course help youll need to have an eye for detail.
This work will need to be done on our website (& then probably a spreadsheet for prices) so we will need references as its potentially commercially sensitive work.
You will probably be best to work at home, though may need to come in to our London (Chelsea) offices a few times for training.
Budget & time are not set - we will work with you to determine those. This work needs doing asap.
