This is an urgent process, bidders who can complete in the shortest possible time will be looked at very favourably.
I run the social bookmarking site [url removed, login to view]
It is built using the open source system pligg ([url removed, login to view]) and functions in a very similar way to Digg.com.
The projects requires the creation of a button that I can pass to content owners in the form of code to put on their own page.
The button should be branded as per [url removed, login to view], jpegs can be provided.
There will need to be two button options (both to look the same but have different functionality behind them)
1. When clicked it should take the URL of the page on which it is placed and (if the user is logged in) put this into the first stage of the story submission journey ([url removed, login to view]). If they are not logged in it should take them to the first stage of the login journey ([url removed, login to view]) (where there is an option to join if not already registered). Once logged in the URL should be put into the first stage of the story submission journey. If they are not a member and therefore select join. The URL should be placed in the first stage of story submission journey once the membership journey is correct.
2. Exactly as above but the button should be able to have the ability to have a specific URL placed within it rather than the page URL so that there can be multiple buttons on one page. Required incase there are multiple and separate pieces of content on one page.
What is needed is described in the links to other sites that have this functionality:
[url removed, login to view] look at the sphinn button for your site section Sphinn is also built using pligg so may be useful as a guide
[url removed, login to view] look at option 1.
