Our existing developer is too busy to complete an iPhone/iPad app so we're looking for someone else to finish it and convert it to an Android application. Here is the general description:
A user logs in to the app and selects a point on a map. The user can then submit photos, videos and text data regarding that point. The data is sent to a web service which is accessed by the client to approve or reject submissions and, if approved, the data is displayed on a web page integrated with Mapbox ([url removed, login to view]).
The app should work online and offline allowing the user to queue submission(s) until an Internet connection is available. The user should have the option to toggle requiring wi-fi (as opposed to cellular) before the queue is processed as some of the files being transmitted may be large in size.
The user must be a verified user and must be able to register via the app. This could be as simple as typing in an email address and password and getting a verification code back they must type in before an account is considered verified. The user should still be able to create a submission before verification is complete; it just won't be sent to the web service.
We'll need both iOS and Android versions and the app should function on phones and tablets in both landscape and portrait modes.
We have functionality and design comps complete. We'd like the project complete within one month from the date of posting.
