Hi sir, I have checked the project details and spread sheet and as for the project plan i think the system would need following menus. Dashboard, ( this is the drag and drop interface with resource and projects ) Users ( manage all the users who have access to system ) Projects ( manage all the projects ) Resource ( manage all the resource for projects ) Working days ( mark the working days so you can drag and drop to working days only ) As i understand every resource can't perform every type of jobs. So I think when add resource we should define the what type of jobs they can perform and based on that we can show the availalbe resource for a job at dashboard (drag and drop interface) As i think we should developed this with a cool interface with simple and intuitive. If you ever used trello platforms we can use the same simplicity here to your project with large boxes for resource , projects and date and time when click on a date. Upon a project confirmed we pick a date and the date box get expanded as your spreadsheet format. Then we can darag the project to specific date and the using of the project info the date screen will poped up. The next step would be drag and drop references and the resource. Only the resources who can perform the job can be drag and dropped and all the data will be validated. Hi, to implement this application as a web application with a responsive layout we need to create n UI with HTML5 javascripts. Also we need to create a backend application service where we will implement all the logic to manage and save data, so you will need a remote server where to store and run it. We can use MySQL or PostGre SQL as DBMS to save data, are both open source. About your excel file there are no connections (macro or calculated fields) among the sheets. For example there is no link between projects and resources, or between schedule and production, you fill all the data by hand. Regards Armando
